You may be familiar with 2 Timothy 2:2, where Paul writes, “And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also” (ESV). Four generations are represented in this one verse. We see Paul passing on what he has learned and experienced to Timothy, who passes it on to “faithful men,” who are to pass it on to “others also.” Discipleship isn’t a method or program; it’s the God-ordained way of growing the kingdom from small beginnings to worldwide impact. And it happens through the investment of one life in the life of another. So let me ask you, “Who are you discipling?”
Who are you discipling?
